UFC president Dana White is sick of talking about Jake Paul but even he is impressed by who the YouTuber-turned-boxer is rumoured to be fighting next.
According to YouTube reporter KEEMSTAR, 'The Problem Child' is set to announce former UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, as his next opponent ahead of his sixth professional boxing bout in October.
Anderson Silva, 47, represents Jake Paul's toughest test to date
The UFC boss believes Silva represents the first 'real fight' of Paul's short career in combat sports.
"I don't give a s*** what they do," White told reporters on Tuesday.
"But if he's really fighting Anderson Silva, and that's true, it's about time, he's got a real fight on his hands there. Regardless of how old Anderson is, yeah, that's a real fight."
'The Spider' returned to boxing after his legendary UFC run came to an end and was a huge underdog heading into his first boxing bout in 16 years as he faced ill-disciplined former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
Chavez Jr is the son of Mexican boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez Sr.
Remarkably, Silva beat Chavez Jr by a split decision in Mexico.
The UFC boss rarely has anything good to say about Paul
But he's glad to see 'The Problem Child' facing one of his former champions
The 47-year-old then went on to KO fellow aging MMA legend Tito Ortiz in another professional boxing bout in September 2021.
Paul boasts a perfect 5-0 boxing record but is yet to face anyone with a background in the sport or striking.
The 25-year-old holds wins over fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson and former MMA champions Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley (x2).
Paul was set for his first step up in opposition when he was booked to face undefeated British boxing prospect, Tommy Fury.

Paul is yet to face a striker
Unfortunately, his fight with Tyson Fury's little brother quickly fell through and Hasim Rahman Jr got the call to fight Paul at Madison Square Garden on August 6.
However, that fight and the event at MSG were ultimately scrapped as the son of legendary heavyweight boxer Hasim Rahman, made it clear he was unable to make the 200lb weight limit.
Paul may not have secured a fight against a 'real' boxer but Silva certainly represents a step up in opposition as one of the most prolific knockout artists in MMA history.
