In a gameplay clip shared on Twitter, the player commandeers a vehicle, climbs inside, and then drives along the road while firing at adversaries that are passing by. The video is of poor quality and gives no background information about what is being shown. In fact, despite popular belief, it has not even been officially verified that this is Modern Warfare II.
Before they are formally released, new Call of Duty games' screenshots and other information frequently appear online.
Fans won't have to wait long, though, since Activision's major Call of Duty Next event is scheduled to take place on September 15. The business will showcase Modern Warfare II's multiplayer, talk about the brand-new mobile game Project Aurora, and provide additional information on Warzone 2.0 during this event.
Just a few weeks remain till the launch of Modern Warfare II multiplayer, which is scheduled to start on September 16 on PlayStation before expanding to other platforms. Pre-ordering fans get first dibs.
