Netflix's new geeked week segments surprisingly unveil the third season trailer of Locke & Key. The popular supernatural thriller was planned for a three-season series, so the remaining episodes are set to provide a satisfying conclusion to the story.
Netflix declared the third season along with the announcement while Meredith Averill also had been signed on such an entire deal having the streamer back in December 2020. It is roughly 11 months since season 2 premiered in November 2021.
Locke & Key (Season 2): Netflix Performance
It is reported that in the first four weeks the series had picked up 143.04 million hours watched on Netflix globally. In comparison, it is literally a quarter of Stranger Things (Season 2) that got 427.44 million hours in a similar period. Cowboy Bebop as launched across the same time as Locke & Key S2, only saw 73.84 million hours viewed within the first three weeks before releasing out. In the third week, Locke & Key got 124.27 million.
The Top 10 site of Netflix reported that the series stayed in the top 10 English series for five weeks just before dropping out. Locke & Key (Season 3): Plot
The story of the series revolves around the Locke siblings, who also can discover a set of magical keys that can expose information about their father's mysterious death. The problem arises when the discovery of the keys fetches a whole lot of supernatural devil forces who desire to take possession of them for their personal use.
The second season of the series was concluded with a cliffhanger. Gabe's lavish home plummeting down along the cliffside has both never been found. When it comes to demons, the Locke family knows that believing in a catastrophic event could stop Dodge from continuing the wicked surroundings.
In this season we will see more villainous than Didge holding the chaos though some are stuck completely. The character of her is pretty sure to return, after getting manipulated and also used by the demons show she had tried preciously as a team, and seeking revenge along with Locke family
The season 3 trailer just reveals there are more obstacles arriving through the breaches of Kayhouse. There are one of the biggest threats is the course, Fredrick Gideon who is a British captain was possessed by a demon and can be resurrected by the keys. We will also get to know how Kinsey Locke deals with the Angel Key that provided her the wings at the end of the second season.
The trailer also depicts such an extreme challenge for the Locke sibling. The main question is they will be able to retrieve all the keys which in theory belong to them? It's confirmed that they have to give hard combat to lock away all that they have to fight and even get a visit from some deadly ghosts in the entire process.
Locke & Key (Season 3): The Sandman Crossover
At last, a collection of articles claiming that The Sandman is coming to Netflix and fur to the comic books crossed over and we will see such a similar crossover on Netflix. Joe Hill will rule possibly back in October 2021.

Locke & Key (Season 3): Release Date
Netflix, at last, confirms the release date of the last and final season, which is 10th August 2022.
It was confirmed back in November 2021 as part of Netflix's "Get Geeked" campaign that was listed Locke & Key season 3 amongst other "genre" shows scheduled for 2022 and containing Alice in Borderland, The Witcher: Blood Origin, the Midnight Club, and The Sandman.
Currently, Joe Hill has revealed that there will be a " much shorter wait" for the third season.
The current estimate indicates that the absolute earliest that we will see Locke & Key season 3 will be in March but with Netflix that is just like having for marketing prep. We are now currently predicting to see season 3 of Locke & Key set to come on Netflix in Q2 2022.
