Police are investigating a homicide after finding two men and one woman dead Saturday morning inside a Greeley residence.
Around 11:29 a.m., Greeley police responded to a well-being check in the 4900 block of 23rd Street Road.
A caller requested officers check on the welfare of a family member after receiving concerning text messages, according to a news release from the department.
At the scene, patrol officers found three people unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds — an 83-year-old man, 80-year-old woman and 61-year-old man. All three victims were produced dead at the scene, police said.
Greeley police reported there is no danger to the public as evidence suggests the homicide may have been a murder-suicide. There is an ongoing investigation into the incident.
Those with any information about this case are asked to contact Det. Radin at (970) 350-9671.
The identity of the victims will be released by the Weld County Coroner's Office at a further date.
