Chelsea are still waiting on Raphinha to finalise personal terms for a move. The Blues have agreed to a £60 million fee for the winger with Leeds United, and only need to sort out the details with the player and his agent and then the deal will be done.
The winger's agent, Deco, has scheduled talks with Chelsea today and is expected to give a final answer for the move very soon. He was recently spotted in Barcelona, which, considering that they had agreed on personal terms over a five-year deal first, isn't the most encouraging sign for the Premier League side.
Chelsea is in the last stages of finalising the Raphinha transfer
The player has been offered a £6 million contract, according to some sources. But, there is still no agreement between the two parties as of yet.
Today will be an important day in the transfer negotiations due to the meeting arranged between Deco and Chelsea. Arsenal were also interested in signing the Brazilian but were not fast enough in reaching an agreement with Leeds.
Raphinha will be a very valuable addition to the Chelsea squad this season, especially given his ability to take on defenders 1v1, and that he can take his chances. His experience in the Premier League is also what makes him especially desirable.
The team has had a number of underperforming wingers, and someone who is proven in the Premier League like Raphinha will no doubt help Thomas Tuchel sort out his attack ahead of the new season.
