The pre tournament favourite Jon Rahm remains in the lead after scoring 68 on Saturday. It was not vintage Jon Rahm by any means and he looked to be struggling with the flat stick again. Nonetheless he has a 2 shot lead going into the final round and looks good for his first PGA Tour win of the year.
Cameron Champ and Kurt Kitayama are Rahms nearest challengers and at one point yesterday looked like they could take the lead going into today's final round. Kitayama charged up the leaderboard with a 5 under score and Champ ended up 4 under on the day.
The leaderboard remains tightly packed behind it and we should be in for an exciting last round as they all aim to become this year's Mexico Open champion.
FanTeam have created a Day 4 Mexico Open contest for us to enjoy. €5 buy-in with €1000 prize pool. Contests start 30 April, 13.35BST 14.35CET.

ROUND 3 STATS
STROKES GAINED ON APPROACH
I feel like I talk about this every week right now and here we are again. It is crucial to be gaining shots on approach here as you will have a huge advantage on the field and the golfers dropping shots because they are finding those deep green side bunkers.
- David Lipsky
- Lee Hodges
- Graeme McDowell
- Aaron Wise
- Cameron Tringale
STROKES GAINED TEE TO GREEN
You need a good all round game around this golf course due to the length of it and the deep bunkers that guard the greens. Being top 5 in this category come the end of the week should see you near the top of the leaderboard.
- Charles Howell
- Tony Finau
- Jon Rahm
- Gary Woodland
- Aaron Rai
DRIVING DISTANCE
The Mexico Open is played on the very long Vidanta resort course. This course has been reduced from a par 73 to a par 71 for this tournament so being long off the tee is a huge advantage, especially on the drivable par 4.
- Jon Rahm
- Cameron Champ
- Doug Ghim
- Hayden Buckley
- Charles Howell
