Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano is being billed as the biggest fight in the history of women's boxing, but their $1 million paydays pale in comparison to the money being made by men in the sport.
'The Bray Bomber' will put her WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and Ring lightweight titles on the line against seven-weight world champion Serrrano at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday.

Hearn has been Taylor's promoter since she turned pro
Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has compared the fight to Floyd Mayweather's 2015 clash with Manny Pacquiao, which is still the most successful and lucrative boxing bout of all time.
"When I break it down, forget women's boxing and forget men's boxing here. This is a great fight," the Matchroom chairman told talkSPORT.
"It's almost like Mayweather-Pacquiao of women's boxing. You've got an undisputed champion against the seven-division world champion."
Mayweather is believed to have made $300m for his win over Pacquiao, who banked $100m despite falling to a unanimous decision defeat in the fight.
It seems there is still a way to go before the likes of Taylor and Serrano are on an equal playing field when it comes to fighter pay.
On the same night as Taylor vs. Serrano, Shakur Stevenson and Oscar Valdez will square off at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to unify the super-featherweight division.
Valdez vs Stevenson will clash with Taylor vs. Serrano
It's a bout Hearn believes is being blown out of the water by the biggest female fight in boxing history, but two men will be making similar money for their bout on ESPN.
"No one is talking about it," he said. "Everyone that night will be dialled into Taylor-Serrano and that's the greatest compliment I can give.
"I can't wait to see Katie walk out on that stage, on that platform. It'll be a very proud moment."
The best men in boxing earn tens of millions every time they fight.
Mayweather has said he will make between $40million and $60million for his exhibition bout with Don Moore
Fury made his way to the ring for his last fight on a gold throne
Just last week, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury made $33.6m for a mandatory title defence against compatriot Dillian Whyte, who walked away from his sixth-round knockout loss with $7.4m.
In 2018, Canelo Alvarez signed a blockbuster $365m deal that granted his next 11 fights over five years to sports streaming service DAZN.
The Mexican superstar ultimately left eight fights and more than $280m on the table due to a breach of contract, but he still makes hefty paydays whenever he enters the ring.
Canelo is the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO super-middleweight world champion and now moving up to light-heavyweight again
Khan and Brook settled their beef, making a ton of money in the process
Canelo is believed to have made $40m last time out when he unified the middleweight division against Caleb Plant whose eleventh round TKO loss was eased by having an extra $10m in his bank account.
The likes of Mayweather, Pacquiao, Fury, and Canelo are definitely outliers but there's a group of male boxers below them that earn multi-million paydays every time they fight.
Amir Khan and Kell Brook are way past their prime, but they still managed to sell out the O2 Arena earlier this year when they met in the ring.
'King Khan' made £5m for his sixth-round TKO defeat against Brook, who walked away with £3m and the satisfaction of finally getting a win over his biggest rival.
The fight appeared to be both men's last hurrah but it now seems that they will both box again, versus each other or someone else, and you can bet that they'll be earning much more than Taylor and Serrano probably ever will.
Hall of Fame promoter Lou Di Bella has previously praised the work Paul has done in striving to make it fairer, while the influencer insisted next time she'll be on an eight-figure payday.
There's still work to do to get things on a more level playing field but Hearn and Paul are determined to make it happen.
