Why did Ken Buck vote against reducing the monthly cost of insulin to $35?

He was not among the 12 Republicans who supported their diabetic constituents. Insulin prices can be prohibitively expensive, causing some people to forgo their medication or to try to make due with insufficient doses.

This was an opportunity to rein in exorbitant prices that have seen annual increases by the manufacturers of this critical medicine. What rationale could there be to deny diabetic patients the chance to be better able to afford their insulin?

Ken Buck owes the people of his congressional district an honest answer as to why he rejected an important piece of healthcare. It seems unreasonable and unconscionable.

Diabetics deserve better.
