The great thing about FanTeam as a platform is I can play daily fantasy contests, player matchups and make my sportsbook bets all in the same place.
PLAYER MATCHUPS
What are player matchups?
Player matchups is an exciting FanTeam game that enables players to bet on between 3 and 10, designated 1 – vs – 1 fantasy matchups, with the potential to win up to 500X your stake.
Player matchups essentially act as a fantasy football accumulator, in which the payout increases the more matchups the user bets on. The great thing with FanTeam player matchups is that you are betting against the house rather than thousands of other players.

Why do I like player matchups?
The reason I love player matchups aside from the obvious cash rewards is just the fact it's a simple way to apply my fantasy knowledge without the need to build or manage a fantasy roster.
The simplicity of matchups means all I have to assess is how well I think certain players/teams will perform that week and just bet on the guys/teams I like, rather than managing transfers/rosters etc.

Martin Odegaard vs Bukayo Saka
Selection: Bukayo Saka
Saka has had some season for Arsenal. The England international has 11 goals to his name and 5 assists and he might not be done yet. Saka is the 5th highest fantasy scoring midfielder in the season long EPL contest on FanTeam and is coming off a stellar performance last time out against Manchester United where he netted and got an assist.
Arsenal take on West Ham in gameweek 35 and it's a West Ham team who look like they have more of an eye on the Europa league at this stage "understandably". I fancy Arsenal to get a few goals in this gameweek and Saka is by far the best Arsenal option so it is an easy choice here.
Mason Mount vs Bruno Fernandes
Selection: Mason Mount
Mason Mount has had a great season for Chelsea this year. The England international has hit 10 goals and 10 assists on the year and is at the forefront of this Chelsea team who are looking to tie up champions league football for next season.
Mount has had the most shots on target out of any of his teammates this year 26 in total and is an integral part in what the Blues do going forward.
Chelsea do like to rotate but Mount seems to have nailed down his starting place with 28 appearances on the season so far. He ranks 6th highest in fantasy scoring midfielders on the FanTeam season long EPL contest and is an easy option for me here over Bruno Fernandes who has had a disappointing campaign for the Red Devils.
James Ward-Prowse vs Maxwell Cornet
Selection: James Ward- Prowse
James Ward-Prowse has been a massive bright spark for Southampton this year. The England international has certainly got the attention of his national team manager Gareth Southgate with his set piece exploits this season.
The Southampton player has netted 9 times this season and has 5 assists to his name. He is currently the 9th highest fantasy scoring midfielder in the FanTeam season long game, and is above some big names including Bruno Fernandes.
Ward- Prowse goes up against a Palace team this week who have conceded 13 goals this year to set pieces so I wouldn't back against him scoring again. Cornet is just coming back from injury so James Ward-Prowse is an easy choice for me here this week.
A £10 player matchups bet on these 3 selections will return £60 if it should land.

GAMEWEEK 35 SPORTSBOOK BETS
Grealish over 5.5 @1.85 (Leeds - Manchester City)
City are fighting fiercely for the championship with Liverpool, so they will not lack motivation in the away match against Leeds. However, Leeds are still fighting for their premiership lives so will be motivated to retain a place in the Premier League, and are looking over their shoulder at Burnley and Everton, who are breathing down the neck of Leeds.
This match is the meeting of the second highest attack of the Premier League (80 goals in 33 matches) against one of the worst defenses of the Premier League (68 conceded goals in 33 games, only Norwich conceded more - 69 goals). So we can rightly expect a lot of goals from Guardiola's charges in this match .
I suggest you bet on the total fantasy points Grealish over 5.5. I hope he plays the full match and gets at least one goal or assist.
Saint-Maximin over 5.5 @2.79 (Newcastle - Liverpool)
Of course, Liverpool is a big favorite in the match against Newcastle. Klopp's team continues to fight for the championship and goes to St. James's Park in fine form However, there is no reason to believe that Liverpool will be able to get these 3 points without a fight. Firstly, the "magpies" look very convincing and have won the last 4 matches in the Premier League. And secondly, Liverpool have a very difficult schedule (the Champions League semi-final match took place only on Wednesday) and not such a wide bench to rotate the squad painlessly.
In order for this bet to win, we will almost certainly need some attacking returns (goal or fantasy assist) from Saint-Maximin but I fancy his chances.
Mbeumo over 5.5 - @2.70 (Manchester United - Brentford)
Brentford is in very good shape and has not lost in the last 4 games . I am sure that the 'Bees ' will create a lot of troubles for Manchester United, which have been poor of late and recently have had considerable problems in defense (11 goals conceded in the last 5 matches). Brentford's main strikers are Toney, Eriksen and Mbeumo.
I suggest you bet on Mbeumo. He has good stats and most importantly - for his total of more than 5.5 fantasy points FanTeam offers the highest and very attractive odds of 2.70!
A treble for this bet will get you combined odds of 13/1.
