This week we focused on the inherent value of providing peer feedback. In doing so, I revisited the subject's marketing criteria to present some well discussed feedback for 3 of my peers.
Every semester we're asked to do a blog post of this nature and it always helps me to form a better understanding of the task at hand. I always find this peer commentary blog post to be refreshing, guiding me through the range and depth of my peers and what interests them. I often find that there are varied perspectives and ideas drawn from the subject content, which are interpreted differently and vastly which allows me to improve my own knowledge, and therefore my work as a whole.
Here is a quick summary of each students Digital Artefact:
Anthony's pitch clearly demonstrated his curiosity with the futures component, as he delved into the world of cyber implants over video essays on YouTube.
Feedback Summary:
Interesting topic which is very futuristic, applies to BCM325 incredibly well
Commended the way he broke down each concept into the slides very casually and confidently
Asked what way was he planning to present his content stance wise (factual/for or against)
Recommended resource of fellow BCM students experience with cyber chips and the discussion behind that concept
Asked about the types of platforms he may decide to engage with and promote his content
Asked about his measurements of success for the DA
In undertaking this task, a wave of inspiration came over me in how I could effectively improve my own work. It helped me to understand how to address the futures component more thoroughly and provided me with new insights into how the futures component can be effectively addressed.
