Eddie Hall has claimed that more than 30 million watched his boxing match with Hafthor Bjornsson earlier this month.
Thor knocked his rival down twice as he grabbed a unanimous decision victory in Dubai.
Thor and Hall could step into the ring again in the near future
It was the culmination of their bitter feud that dated back to the World's Strongest Man in 2017.
The fight was streamed for free online and Hall says it was watched by millions of people.
Viewing figures are tough to estimate for boxing matches, with Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather attracting a record 4.6 million pay-per-view buys, which is projected to be around 50 million people.
"Although I lost the fight, it has been a success in many ways," Hall said on YouTube. "I was speaking to the promoter and in the 48 hours, including and following the fight, 30 million people watched it in total.
"You have to think in terms of what we set out to do, we did it. The heaviest boxing match in history, we pulled it off.
"A lot of people who said they wouldn't watch the fight, let's be honest, you watched the fight. It was a hell of a fight and a hell of a thrill.
"Lots of boxers and promoters have reached out, it was a success at the end of the day.
Hall was sent flying to the canvas twice in the fight
"The build-up to the fight was fun. It was over amped and over worked, but I think for both of us if we could go back and do things differently then we would.
"I've seen how more humility and respect could have been shown to each other. In that way we could have had more fun and put on a better show, had we put our differences aside beforehand.
"I suppose that was why we were fighting in the first place, to put our differences aside."
Although their rivalry has been settled somewhat and the pair are willing to now move on, Hall insisted he wants to get back in the ring.
Hall said he was carrying an injury into the fight, with a troublesome bicep injury still causing him problems.
The 2017 World's Strongest Man winner said: "The aftermath of the fight has made me think very hard. I think it's time for me and Thor to move on from our differences in 2017 at the World's Strongest Man.
Thor edged the fight on the judges scorecards and earned bragging rights
"I understand why Thor did what he did and why he said what he said. I understand in his head what the outcome was.
"Nothing will change that and he will always have this perception that he was robbed in 2017. Him winning the fight is not going to change that.
"I've wanted to punch him in the face for a long time and I got the chance to. It's resolved a lot for me and helped to push a lot aside.
"It is what it is."
He added: "I do want the rematch. I will say what a blast it was getting in the ring and throw bombs at each other.
