Brandon Jones went for a wild ride into the sand barrels on pit road in a bizarre incident with two laps left in Saturday's NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Auto Club. Screengrab: FS1 broadcast.

We are heading into a third overtime attempt in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Performance Alliance Group 300 at Auto Club Speedway after a wild crash, which began in turns 3 and 4 while coming to the white flag.

After Sheldon Creed slammed into Stefan Parsons, Brandon Jones got spun. Jones' car went at a very high speed toward the pit road wall. His No. 19 Toyota slammed into the sand barrels on pit road, which destroyed Jones' car and littered the track with sand and pieces of plastic barrels.

Fortunately, Jones was able to climb from the No. 19 car and appeared to be okay after the crash.
