Conor McGregor has told fans he will be giving up alcohol once his training camp starts again.
The Irishman has been working with coach John Kavanagh since the turn of the year to test his recovery from the broken leg he suffered against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 last year.
It's believed The Notorious will enter training camp in April with a view to a return this summer, though who his opponent will be is up in the air right now.
"For my fighting fans, I want to say I know I am enjoying myself with my liquid," McGregor wrote on Instagram.
"But very soon I will be immersing myself in full training again with complete abstention from my wonderful creations of spirit and ale," he said reference to his whiskey brand and the pub in Dublin he owns, signing off by joking: "Just five more minutes, Ma."
McGregor also said he was giving up alcohol prior to UFC 264 as well.
"I'm in a great place in body and mind. I'm taking my health very very seriously. You know I haven't touched the most delicious Irish Whisky Proper 12 at all this camp.
"I haven't actually touched it since we made the deal, upwards of $700 million that deal is worth and I haven't celebrated it with a glass yet because I was in camp so I stayed focused.
"I'm excited to have a little bit of it afterwards. I'm going to enjoy it for a couple of days, it's my birthday week also."
McGregor has a vested interest in alcohol with his Proper 12 Whiskey, a brand that has help expand his already vast fortune.
Charles Oliveira is scheduled to face Justin Gaethje for the UFC lightweight title at UFC 274 while great McGregor rivals Poirier and Nate Diaz have expressed an interest in facing each other.
That leaves McGregor with names like Tony Ferguson or Rafael Dos Anjos at lightweight or a move up to welterweight this summer.
