There were yet more incredible scenes at the Africa Cup of Nations as Sierra Leone battled to a last-gasp 2-2 draw against the Ivory Coast.

From on-pitch fights, to dangerous tackles to absolutely shoddy refereeing performances, this tournament really has had it all.

What a tournament AFCON 2021 has been and there's a lot more to come

And Sunday's clash between Sierra Leone and the Ivory Coast proved to be no different with a hilarious celebration and Serge Aurier having a cameo appearance in goal capping off the enthralling contest.

Sebastien Haller put the Ivory Coast, who went into the match as favourites to win, in front but the Elephants were pegged back by Musa Noah Kamara's fine effort.

Nicolas Pepe's crisp strike appeared to have sealed the Ivory Coast all three points, however, Alhaji Kamara snatched a draw for Sierra Leone in the third minute of stoppage-time.

It came in extremely fortuitous circumstances as Kamara struck home from inside six yards when the ball was laid on a plate from him after an astonishing mistake from Ivory Coast goalkeeper Badra Sangare.

They've been a credit to the tournament

Kamara capped off his equaliser with the hilarious celebration

The equaliser sparked jubilant scenes in the Sierra Leone camp and there was a nice bit of closure for Kamara, who embarrassed himself earlier in the week after recreating Bafetimbi Gomis' lion celebration only to later find out his strike against Algeria wasn't given.

Sangare also sustained an injury as a routine ball slipped underneath his body and former Tottenham defender Serge Aurier finished the match in goal.

Aurier was in goal for the final moments of the clash as the Ivory Coast had already made five substitutions

The early stages of the Group E clash also saw Franck Kessie's penalty get saved by Sierra Leone keeper Mohamed Nbalie Kamara.

Things are wide open in the group with Sierra Leone in a great position to reach the last-16 of the tournament while the Ivory Coast have work to do when they face defending champions Algeria on Thursday.
