It's been over three weeks since the Pro Kabaddi League officially came back. Kabaddi fans had to wait over a year to finally witness the biggest Kabaddi event of the year. Before this season, the last PKL took place in 2019 when Bengal Warriors became the champions. This year's PKL kicked off on December 22, 2021, and the date of the final is yet to be announced.
Since the season premiered, a total of 54 matches have been played and so far, the Bengaluru Bulls are sitting on top of the ladder. It's followed by Patna Pirates, Dabang Delhi, Jaipur Pink Panthers, Tamil Thalaivas, and U Mamba. Naveen Kumar
Dabang Delhi's 21-year-old Naveen Kumar is the youngest kabaddi player we've seen on the PKL state so far. He already scored 130 after participating in 8 matches this year. Last season, he was the fastest raider to score 300 raid points.
Maninder Singh
Singh is the captain of the Bengal Warriors since last year with a running score of 111 this season. Last season, during a match against Patna Pirates, he was named as the second-quickest raider to reach 600 points in the entire PKL.
Arjun Deshwal
Deshwal is one of the youngest raiders in this season of the PKL. He was part of U Mumba in the last season when his overall raid strike rate was 54 percent and tackle strike rate was 33 percent. In all 19 games that he played, he scored 106.
Vikash Khandala
Vikash has been part of the PKL since its fourth season. During the seventh PKL season, he played a total of 20 matches with a 49% raid strike rate and 25% tackle strike rate. He earned a total of 195 points last year. His running score this year is 77 out of 9 matches.
