Leeds just cannot catch a break at the moment as they lost TWO more players to injury inside 23 minutes against West Ham.

The Premier League side's injury problems this season have been well documented, with a number of manager Marcelo Bielsa's star players on the sidelines.

Forshaw and teammate Firpo both had to come off in the first half

Leeds had to make two changes mid way through the first half

The Argentine was given further headaches at the London Stadium when two more players players had to come off within seconds of each other with apparent muscle injuries.

Adam Forshaw, who set up Jack Harrison for a goal to make it 1-0, came off for Lewis Bate in the 22nd minute.

Less than 60 seconds later, Junior Firpo was replaced by 18-year-old Leo Fuhr Hjelde.

Not only could it be a potential long-term blow for Leeds, it had an impact on the game too.

West Ham equalised through Jarrod Bowen, before Harrison grabbed a second to restore the lead but were then pegged back in the second half by Pablo Fornals.

Bielsa has mounting injury problems

There has been plenty of criticism directed towards Bielsa for his intense 'murderball' training sessions that have created this injury crisis.

Patrick Bamford, Jamie Shackleton, Kalvin Phillips, Charlie Cresswell, Liam Cooper, Tyler Roberts, Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood are all already out injury, with Forshaw and Firpo now joining them.

Bielsa was asked before kick-off if he and the club had considered asking for a postponement.

He replied: "No, because we did not have any reason to ask for it."
