Spider-Man No Way Home has become the first movie since 2019's Star Wars Episode IX The Rise Of Skywalker (and the 49th movie in history) to have surpassed a whopping US$1 billion at the worldwide box office. According to Deadline, the latest Marvel Studios film has managed to garner US$1.05 billion to date.

It's also the third-fastest movie to surpass US$1 billion in only 12 days, tied with 2015's Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens. Meanwhile, in Malaysia, the movie managed to grab a big chunk of the Malaysian box office on its first day (16 December 2021) with RM4.1 Million, the highest collection in a single trading day since March 2020. In just under two days, an estimated half a million Malaysians flocked to catch Spider-Man No Way Home in cinemas.
