It's the last day of 2021 what a roller coaster ride it has been! Even in the realm of video games, we had some very nice games and some... we shouldn't even mention.

That being said, 2022 is looking to be a very exciting year for console and PlayStation gamers. Some of the games we can look forward to are Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok, Elden Ring, Gran Turismo 7 and more!

Here's a list of PlayStation games that are set to come out in less than 100 days:

28 Jan- Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection

If five years ago we told you there'll be an Uncharted movie starring Spider-Man, Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, you'd probably laugh at us. Why ruin a perfect game franchise with an overrated movie. Well, fast forward to 2022 and we're hoping the Uncharted movie delivers. Not only that, there'll be a remastered Uncharted series coming to PlayStation 5 and PC too! The remastered versions of A Thief's End and The Lost Legacy will be coming for both PC and PS5 on 28 January 2022... that is, no other delays are going on.

04 Feb- Dying Light 2 Stay Human

When we heard about this game, we thought... okay, another Dying Light game, another zombie game, cool deal... But after seeing its trailer at The Game Awards, we are all for it!

The gameplay looks enhanced compared to the first Dying Light game and the storyline seems quite compelling. It sets 20 years after the first Dying Light game and there'll be over 3000 parkour animations in this game to give its characters more fluid running. Like the previous game, there'll also be tools to help players survive this zombie apocalypse... well, maybe.

08 Feb- Sifu

Based on the trailers we've seen about this game, it looks promising and something that we're eager to play when it comes out. It's a beat-em-up style kungfu game that features a visceral hand-to-hand combat system in a contemporary urban setting. Check out the game's combat system overview here.

18 Feb- Horizon Forbidden West

Do we need to say anymore?

If you're a fan of Horizon Zero Dawn like us, then this is a can't miss game.

It's been years since we played and fell in love with Horizon Zero Dawn and this is a sequel we've all been screaming for. It was sad when they announced that they were going to postpone the game, but 2022 is here in a blink of an eye and we're even more excited for it to be released... Hopefully, it doesn't receive the New Mutants treatment (#IYKYK).

25 Feb- Elden Ring

Voted as the most anticipated game of 2022, the materials that are coming out for this Dark Souls sequel has been nothing but amazing.

If you love the Game of Thrones TV series, then chances are Elden Ring is something you'll truly be excited about. It's written by George R. R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki, this action role-playing game is scheduled to release on 25 February.

04 Mar - Gran Turismo 7

The granddaddy of racing games, Gran Turismo is back with its 7th instalment of the series, and from the trailers, it looks like a Forza killer… but will it do the job of dethroning Forza?

From the campaign mode, the weathers and track customisation, this is a game that racing fans would not want to miss.

Forspoken

Square Enix, known for its Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games is back with Forspoken.

It's an action RPG where players get to follow Frey Holland's journey into the fantasy world of Athia. The game is set to release in May 2022 on PC and PS5.

God of War Ragnarok

Possibly one of, if not the most anticipated PlayStation Exclusive games coming out in 2022. This is the sequel to the 2018 God of War game and is said to be the last game to delve into the realm of Norse mythology. Continue the journey in Nordic lands as Kratos and Atreus finds out more about the Norse Gods, and even meet Thor.

Apart from God of War Ragnarok, the first NEW God of War game will be on PC on 15 January this year.

Stray

This game combines both elements of Cyberpunk/ Blade Runner and being a cat. It's an adventure game whereby, you get to be a cat in a Cyberpunk universe and we're all for it.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

The PS5 exclusive game has finally resurfaced. Ghostwire: Tokyo, an action-adventure game will be coming to PS5 and Windows in 2022. From the trailer, it looks amazing…ly similar to Cyberpunk 2077, but in a good way, we hope. It's also a highly anticipated PS5 game.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

Developed by the same studio that worked on the Batman Arkham series, Rocksteady Studios will be delivering another promising DC IP. This time in the form of the Suicide Squad, and yes... don't worry, they'll also include Harley Quinn.

Gotham Knights

Another DC game that will likely come out in 2022 is Gotham Knights. What if Bruce Wayne is dead, and the Court of Owls emerge from the darkness to take over the city? Then you have the Batfam (Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl and Red Hood) showing up to show who's boss.

Marvel's Midnight Suns

A turned-based RPG game, this game is something that hasn't been done in any Marvel games before. There are new characters that fans have never been introduced to before, and characters that fans fell in love with since the dawn of time.
