It was recently announced that Omnic Data was one of ten companies selected to take part in the Roux Institute Techstars Accelerator program in Maine. Omnic Data is an organization that uses artificial intelligence to analyze esports player performance.

Nine American businesses and one Chilean company were selected for the program. This 13-week project will help the organizations refine their business models while teaching them how to interact with potential investors.

"Our goal is that these companies build a deeper relationship with the state, the Roux Institute, and Northeastern and they keep a portion of their team here," Chris Wolfel, the institute's director of entrepreneurship, said.

The accelerator began operations on September 13th. This initiative comes as part of a joint collaboration between Northeastern University and Techstars.
