Red-hot Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic is interested in a move to the Premier League, but not to Arsenal, preferring rivals Tottenham as his next club.

The Serbia striker has been tearing up Serie A in 2021, recently matching Cristiano Ronaldo's record for the most goals in a calendar year with 33.

Vlahovic has come from relative obscurity to being mooted as one of the best strikers in Europe in 2021

Arsenal seem like an ideal fit with Aubameyang heading for the exit door

But Spurs boss Conte is seen as a far bigger draw

Vlahovic has boosted his side's European hopes after years of struggling in Italy's top flight, but looks destined for a move away as richer clubs circle.

Among those linked to the 21-year-old target man are a number of Premier League sides, including Arsenal, who may soon have a spot up front with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang out of the side and Alexandre Lacazette's contract ending soon.

Vlahovic could be an ideal fit for an Arsenal side aiming to get younger under manager Mikel Arteta, but Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has as good as ruled the Gunners out of the race for his signature.

"It depends on which project, how much money he is being given," the transfer guru explained.

Arsenal's chances of keeping Vlahovic in red have been dealt a knock

"Arsenal, for example, his agents do not want to speak to them. They think Arsenal is not enough for him and his career."

Di Marzio explained that Vlahovic and his agents are more interested in both Manchester sides, as well as Arsenal's rivals Tottenham, due to the arrival of manager Antonio Conte.

"They think that Tottenham or Man City or Man United are more fit for him," he explained.

"Tottenham with Antonio Conte as coach, is the right fit for him. He could be a replacement for [Harry] Kane or even play with him for one year. He can improve with Kane, by training with him, during the matches.

Four-time Serie A winner Conte is admired by everyone playing in Italy

"I think that he can learn from a top player like Kane. One year behind Kane, or he can play with him - that should be the right fit for him.

"I think he needs another step with Antonio Conte as coach. I don't know if Tottenham will spend all the money, but the club should be the right fit for him in this moment of his career."

Di Marzio also went onto explain that City likely wouldn't be the right fit for Vlahovic, despite having the money, and that the striker is likely to wait until the summer before moving.

City have had plenty of success playing without a striker, and it's unlikely Vlahovic would be the right man to disrupt that

"I don't think that Man City, with the way of playing of [Pep] Guardiola, all this movement with forwards, in this moment should be the right tactical solution for Vlahovic.

"I know that he wants to stay, till June, at Fiorentina because he would like to finish the season here. He wants to lead Fiorentina to Europe. He wants to help Fiorentina to get Europa League or Champions League even though that is very difficult.

Vlahovic has become adored in Tuscany and wants to leave on a high note in the summer

"He wants to leave Fiorentina with a smile and people not saying 'you didn't want to renew the contract'.

"At this moment, every club should be a fit for Dusan Vlahovic because he is a machine, he's incredible. He has improved in an incredible way in the last 12 months. He's skilled.

"Juventus wants to get him but it is very difficult because his agents are asking a lot of money. So it is really difficult for Serie A and Juventus to get him next summer."
