Ralf Rangnick has warned Anthony Martial to focus on his future at Manchester United as no clubs have shown interest in signing him.

The France international has told the interim manager he wants to leave Old Trafford and would be willing to leave in the January transfer window.

Martial was heavily linked with a move away from Man United this summer, but may have to wait until 2022

However, the German is only willing to sell the 26-year-old if it suits the club, with United fighting on three fronts still.

Sevilla were reportedly interested in signing the forward, while Newcastle we're also linked but Rangnick has confirmed no-one has made an offer which satisfies the club's demands.

Rangnick said: "Yes we spoke on Wednesday. We spoke at length. He explained to me he's been at Manchester United now for seven years and he feels it's the right time for a change, to go somewhere else.

"In a way this is understandable, I could follow his thoughts but on the other hand, it's also important to see the situation of the club.

The German is not impressed with Martial

"We have Covid times, we have three competitions in which we still have high ambitions.

"I told him as long as there is no club showing interest in him, and it should not only be in the interest of the player it should also be in the interest of the club.

"So far, as far as I know, there has been no offer from any other club and as long as this is the case he will stay."

Martial arrived in the summer of 2015 for a fee of £36million, but it could rise to £58m provided he met certain clauses.
