CHSAANow.com, ColoradoPreps.com and MaxPreps released their girls high school volleyball all-state lists today, and numerous local athletes, and one local coach, made the cut.

University coach Jared Rudiger was named the Class 3A coach of the year after helping the Bulldogs to a 25-4 record and the program's first state championship on Nov. 13 at The Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs.

Bulldogs senior middle/opposite hitter Aesha Alrashed was a 3A first-team selection, as was senior outside hitter/defensive specialist/setter Logan Conlin.

Resurrection Christian senior right-side hitter Jeorgia Jones was also a 3A first-team selection.

Platte Valley freshman outside hitter Karsyn Fetzer was selected to the 3A second team, as were Broncos senior libero Cora Schissler, Eaton junior setter Rylee Martin and Resurrection Christian junior outside/right-side hitter Reagan McWhinney.

Three local players were 3A honorable mentions: Fort Lupton junior defensive specialist Trisha Hammen, Resurrection Christian senior middle hitter Bryleigh Schweer and Valley senior middle blocker Hallee Sherman.

Windsor's sophomore middle/outside hitter Julia Bohlinger was a 4A honorable mention, as was her senior teammate, setter/right-side hitter Shae Hardy.

Dayspring Christian senior middle hitter Tabor Flanagan was a 2A honorable mention, as was Dayspring senior outside hitter Corrin Sides.

Briggsdale senior Kylie Krise made the 1A first team, and Falcons senior Emily Johnson made the second team.

Briggsdale also had a pair of honorable mentions: sophomore Jenna Krise and junior Peyton Nicklas.
