Robert Lewandowski continues to break Champions League records, achieving his latest feat with a stunning overhead kick in Bayern Munich's 2-1 win over Dynamo Kiev.

The 2019/20 Champions League winner has been in unstoppable form over recent years, racking up goal after goal and trophy after trophy for Bayern Munich.

Lewandowski set an impressive record in even more impressive fashion, and he even did it with his shoe untied!

Lewandowski was overjoyed at his stunner

But it's been in Europe's premier club competition where Lewandowski has really impressed, firing Borussia Dortmund to the final in 2013, before lifting his first crown with Bayern in 2020.

Among an impressive list of records, the Poland captain has the most goals of any player after their first 100 games with 81, and he currently sits third behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the all-time scoring charts.

Now Lewandowski has yet another record to boast about, becoming the first ever player to score in nine consecutive Champions League games on two separate occasions.

And he did it in the most impressive of fashion, firing in an overhead kick to put Bayern 1-0 up against Kiev.

The Kyiv defenders could do nothing about Lewa's opener

Looking for an opener in snowy Ukraine, Kingsley Coman laid the ball off to right-back Benjamin Pavard for a speculative long-range effort, which was unsurprisingly blocked.

What happened next though wasn't to be expected, with Illya Zabarnyi's clearance looping up in the area, and Lewandowski reacted in an instant to throw his boot over his head and guide the ball in.

The goal was Lewandowski's 82nd in 101 games, setting Bayern on their way to a 2-0 first half lead.

It wasn't all easy going for Bayern though, with the normally faultless Manuel Neuer almost conceding in the most embarrassing of fashion.

Neuer did eventually concede, but it was far less embarrassing than what could have been

Viktor Tsyhankov was played into the area and Bayern looked to be in trouble, but a last-ditch Leon Goretzka interception snuffed out the trouble.

The ball then headed towards Neuer for a routine clearance, but the German No.1 went full Paul Robinson as the ball bounced over his foot, but to his relief the ball hit the post.
