With 11 weeks in the books, we are starting to get a pretty good idea of what NFL teams will be picking early, what positions they will be targeting, and we are seeing college prospects start to separate themselves from the pack. Patriots Notes: Maybe this is the year the Patriots get it right at WR. I don't need to waste your time with naming all of the wide receivers drafted by the Patriots this century who haven't worked out. We know the deal: they have not developed the position very well. However, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Nelson Agholor has had some moments, but for Mac Jones to continue to develop, he needs a more talented field stretcher. Jameson Williams is that guy. Williams transferred to Alabama from Ohio State, where he was lost in the Buckeyes' incredibly talented receiver room (including two first rounders this year in Olave and Wilson), and he has turned into one of the most dangerous downfield weapons in college football. Williams is a burner who tracks the ball very well, and will give Mac a more reliable downfield threat and truly open up the Patriots offense.
