UNDEFEATED Mommy Caring (Striding Ahead out of On A Mission) blasted out of the gate and never looked back in taking the 2021 Philracom Lakambini Stakes at the San Lazaro Business and Leisure Park during the Klub Don Juan de Manila Racing Festival.
The James Anthony Rabano prized possession bred by the Esguerra Farms and Stud clocked 1:43.2 over the 1600-meter journey with clips of 24-24-25'-30.
The victory gave the three year old bay filly's connections (Rabano, Trainer Ramon Nartea and Jockey Lester F. de Jesus) the P1.2-million top prize.
La Liga Filipina which hounded Mommy Caring the whole race had to settle for second worth P400-thousand with the fast closing Isla Puting Bato coming in third for P200,000.

Rounding out the top five finishers were All too Easy and O Sole Mio worth P100-thousand and P60,000, respectively.
"This brings great joy to me and my stables as Mommy Caring is named after my mother who recently passed. Moreso, still remaining undefeated after taking the PCSO Maiden Stakes and the Philippine Sportswriters Association Cup", Rabano said.
In the undercard, Speed Fantasy ridden by rising star Pabs M. Cabalejo, trained by Norman Cagatin and owned by basketball superstar Paolo Medoza grabbed the Philracom-KDJM Juvenile Stakes in honor of Don Juan Past President Antonio "Tony Boy" Eleazar.
Nicely settled in fourth at the onset, the Java's War out of Soul of Comete progeny started her move at the half-mile mark and made a charge for the lead at the final straight.
Stopping the clock at 1:31.2 over the 1400-meter distance, the win was worth P180,000 for the connections.
Chancetheracer, a five-year-old bay filly owned by the SC Stockfarm, trained by Chito Santos and masterfully ridden by Jesse Guce claimed thePhilracom- KDJM Golden Girls Stakes in honor of KDJM past president Dante "Sonny" Arevalo.
Ran over the distance of 1600-meters, the Quality Road-Christmas Lass offspring registered a time of 23'-24-25'-28' for a total of 1:41.4 giving the connections the plum of P180,000.
