The city of Greeley needs community input in regards to a design and improvements for a future playground in Centennial Park.
City officials are asking for input on the types of equipment and grass community members would want to see in the area. A public meeting will take place 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday to present playground design ideas and landscape options in the area throughout the park.
The plans to build a new playground and install landscape in the spring are a part of improvements dating back to 2020, to better serve the surrounding neighborhood and community, according to a city news release.
"Officials want to start a community discussion about what neighbors and visitors want to see and use," the release said. "The results of the survey and public meeting input will help the city design a fun and innovative playground for the whole community."
