The Los Angeles Rams added to their star-studded defense by swinging a trade for three-time All-Pro linebacker, Von Miller.
The Los Angeles Rams have the Super Bowl in their sights.
Holding a share of the best record in the NFC, the Rams swung a deal with the Denver Broncos for All-Pro linebacker, Von Miller. Miller joins a Rams defense that is 10th in points per game allowed and features other All-Pros such as Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey. The Rams currently share the top spot in the NFC West with the Arizona Cardinals at 7-1 and in the tight race for the top seed in the Conference.
In return, the Rams sent their second and third-round pick in 2022 to the Broncos. Including the 2022 first rounder the Rams sent to the Lions for Matt Stafford and the fourth sent to Houston in the Brandin Cooks trade, the Rams are left with just four draft picks in next spring's event.

Miller has 4.5 sacks in seven games this season after missing all 2020 due to injury. He had eight sacks in 2019 in 15 games which ended a streak of five straight seasons with double-digit sacks. Drafted second overall by the Broncos during the 2011 NFL Draft, Miller has reached the double-digit sack mark in seven of nine seasons entering 2021. All-in-all, he has amassed 110.5 sacks and 26 forced fumbles in 142 games.
As a team, the Rams defense leads the league in sacks with 25 through eight games. Leonard Floyd leads the way with 6.5 followed closely by perennial All-Pro, Aaron Donald. In total, the Rams have eight players that have been credited with at least one sack this season.
However, the Rams are 14th in the league in points allowed and are in a fight with some high-powered offenses like the Cardinals, Packers, and Buccaneers for the top spot in the NFC and the lone bye-week in the playoffs.
