NASCAR Xfinity Series competitor Carson Ware was arrested Wednesday Afternoon (October 20th) on charges of Assault on a Female, Assault on a Female, Simple Assault, and Injury to Personal Property, according to the Rowan County Sheriff's Department.
Ware was scheduled to compete in Saturday's Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway, but according to a statement from Rick Ware Racing, the 21-year-old has been indefinitely suspended by both SS Green Light Racing and NASCAR. Garrett Smithley will drive the No. 17 Chevrolet Camaro in Saturday's event at Kansas.
