It's Monday and you know what that means. Time for another edition of the Friday Night wrestling ratings for network television and cable looking at the numbers for WWE Smackdown and AEW Rampage. This is final week for the two shows go head to head for the next two weeks. Let us begin.

WWE Smackdown Remains Consistent

WWE Smackdown continues to do well for Fox. They were number one in the 18-49 demo this week. This week's episode of Smackdown was viewed by 2.147 million people. In addition, the show did .52 in the 18-49 demo. WWE Smackdown was third overall in the demo behind the MLB Playoffs. This number was down from a week ago though Smackdown had some solid matches.

This edition of Smackdown was building towards Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. Paul Heyman cut a promo on Brock Lesnar and how his allegiance is to the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. It was one of the best promos of the year from Heyman. He is such a great mouthpiece. In addition, Edge was on the show challenging Seth Rollins to a Hell in a Cell match. Along with those segments, we saw the start of the King of the Ring Tournament and Queens Crown (which saw some controversy). Next week Smackdown will be two and a half hours and will be on FS1 and it is a loaded card.

AEW Rampage All Time Low

For the first time since its inception, AEW Rampage has seen its lowest rating ever. The show was viewed by 502,000 people. They did a .17 in the 18-49 demo. They were 15th on cable according to Showbuzzdaily.com. AEW did have a lot of competition. And when there is competition it usually hurts AEW. The show saw CM Punk in action against Daniel Garcia along with the Lucha Bros defending the AEW World Tag Team titles against the Acclaimed. In addition, Jade Cargill was in action, plus Ricky Starks and Brian Cage fought for the FTW title in a street fight.

Rampage will be live this Friday and they will be up against WWE Smackdown for the first hour of the show. We will see CM Punk back in action, the Inner Circle taking on American Top Team, and much more.
