Jack Wilshere is open to joining David Beckham in the United States and playing for Inter Miami CF.

The England international is currently without a club after leaving Bournemouth at the end of last season.

However, he is continuing to train with former side Arsenal in a bid to maintain his fitness levels ahead of a potential move.

Wilshere has endured a torrid time with injuries since bursting onto the scene with the Gunners as a teenager in the 2010/11 season.

As well as winning the first of 34 England caps at the start of that particular season, the midfielder shone in a Champions League clash with Barcelona at the Emirates.

Yet as he ponders his next move, the 29-year-old told talkSPORT he remains keen on playing at the highest level, even if that means leaving England.

Neville would likely relish the chance to work with Wilshere

"I'd like to go abroad actually," Wilshere said on Drive. "Obviously I would like to play in the Premier League as well.

"But I would also like to play abroad."

"I'm training with Arsenal 'til the end of January, the MLS start their pre-season in January.

When asked by co-presented Darren Bent if he would like to play for Inter Miami, Wilshere replied: "Oh that would be nice.

"You must know Becks? You played with him! Give him a call. Any chance, 10%?"

Manager Phil Neville is reportedly planning a clear out of some of the star names, with just five games remaining of the season and the Florida-based outfit having lost their last six of their last seven.

According to The Sun, Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuidi are in danger of getting the chop as the former England Woman's boss plots a title assault next season.
