It appears that Grand Theft Auto VI is once again being delayed. According to gaming industry insider Tom Henderson, the title is not expected to hit markets until 2024 or 2025.

In a YouTube video posted on June 27th, the esports industry professional explained he originally believed the game would be released in 2023 or 2024. However, he has since said that he had to push back his estimate because of "the belief that Rockstar is refocusing its efforts and energy on the wellbeing of its staff following 'intense crunch' on its previous titles."

Henderson went on to say that Rockstar Games will likely not announce the game until the organization is sure of its release date. Furthermore, the company said it does not want to continue delaying the game once the title has been officially announced.

The Profit's Take:

This is the least surprising news of all time. Why make a new game when the current version is making you so much money? I am just worried that GTA VI may be entering Cyberpunk 2077 territory because it is taking far too long.
