An investigation into a stabbing incident is on-going after an injured victim, who was later arrested for two active warrants, refused to share what occurred with Greeley police.

Greeley officers responded to a stabbing around 1:43 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Patrick's Pub in downtown Greeley. Multiple parties reported there was a man bleeding from his head.

At first the man began to flee when officers arrived at the scene but he stopped his attempt.

The victim was uncooperative and would not advise officers what happened to him, police said. Law enforcement identified him as a 53-year-old man with two active warrants out for his arrest.

He was taken to a local hospital where he was later released with no serious bodily injury. The 53-year-old was then arrested by the officers for his active warrants.

At this time, there are no suspects in the stabbing incident and the investigation is on-going, according to Greeley police.
