If you ever wonder why fake nerds and geeks have been getting into Dungeons & Dragons for the past few years, you can thank live D&D shows like Critical Role. This group of talented voice actors and actresses (most of them good-looking) livestream their D&D play sessions.

With actual talent doing these shows on a weekly/monthly basis, it's no wonder the tabletop and analog gaming scene has seen some level of resurgence. And now the group's hard work has paid off to the point where their Legend of Vox Machina campaigns are getting the Western animation treatment. During New York Comic Con 2021, the Critical Role group showed off the title intro of its upcoming animated series Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina for Amazon Prime Video streaming service.

It looks hella good.

The show will be a two series 24-episode adventure, with key cast members also serving the executive production role: Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O'Brien, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham. Here's a line read session from the group:

Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina will be on Amazon Prime Video on 4th February, 2022. Don't worry: you don't need to be a poser to enjoy the show.
