Marvel's first Asian superhero makes his entrance with an incredible blockbuster that will amaze not only superhero fans but also those who love classical Chinese cinema and anime.

Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings arrived at  theaters, introducing the newest member of the MCU with what could be the best action scenes in the whole franchise, with cinema references, great graphics, incredible music, and the return of old foes, Shang-Chi doesn't disappoint.

Going into the movie I truly didn't know what to expect, growing up watching the classical Asian cinema I had no idea if Marvel could do it, if they could really recreate what some tried but failed to do.  Well, they actually did it, coming out of this movie really leaves you amazed.

The whole movie is filled with incredible action sequences like fighting in a bus going down the streets of San Francisco against a mercenary with a blade for an arm, to fighting thousands of mythical creatures with a dragon and finishing off with a 'Kamehameha."

But that's not it, Simu Liu's character shines in every kind of scene, with comedy, drama, and incredible stunts (which by the way were performed by himself) along with Awkafina who brings a great performance to the big screen.

The writing makes every side character feel like the main character, they all have their well written and paced backstories and their own scenes to shine in the acting, while also bringing some old foes like Wong and Abomination, two characters that you might have not thought to see in this movie.

The movie takes place sometime after the events of Endgame, connecting to the bigger universe as Shang-Chi is welcomed into the superhero life, explained by Wong, Captain Marvel and Bruce Banner (Yeah you heard that right), not the HULK that we had seen in the previous movie, this is the comeback of the scientist in human flesh.

The verdict, the movie is incredible and is now in my top 4 best Marvel Movies, with great pacing and acting that never makes you feel bored or unfocused, music is on point with perfect match to scenes, the graphics are great but there are some minor scenes where you can notice it was a green screen but even the biggest CGI action scenes with dragons, seemed extremely real giving you a taste of what's to come in the future. And for those asking if the movie has anything to do with the new "Multiverse", yes it does, so be sure to stick for both after credits scenes to jump out of your seats.
