A new esports facility recently broke ground in Wappinger Falls, NY. The Contender Esports Gaming Center had a grand opening ceremony the weekend of August 7th.

The LAN center is outfitted with Nintendo, Xbox, and PC devices. The venue is also expected to host esports tournaments twice a month that will feature real monetary prizes.

The gaming arena is located at 1557 Route 9 in Wappinger Falls. The facility is open Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM and Friday to Saturday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM.
