Walters on the Beach, a designer cocktail bar overlooking a Blue Flag winning white sandy expanse, is the latest addition to the luxury Cornish Carbis Bay Estate.
Offering lunch and diner, cocktails and eclectic bar snacks, it's already looking like a must-visit foodie hotspot.
The menu is the work of Carbis Bay's executive chef Andrew Hougton, so we can expect a mix of British classics and international favourites, with copious fresh fish and seafood on the menu, bought daily from the nearby harbour. For those looking for something bite-sized, Cocktail snacks like Little Fish Fingers and Homemade Chorizo and Chicken Caesar Croquettes, provide serious temptation.

Cocktails and snacks devised by executive chef Andrew Hougton
The lunch and dinner menus include locally smoked salmon from nearby St Ives, Stargazy Mackerel Wellington, Cornish Fillet of Beef and Butter-Baked Whole Flat Fish.
Walter on the Beach joins other Carbis Bay Estate gastronomic favourites, including The Gannet, Ugly Butterfly and The Orangery, with its panoramic views of Carbis Bay.
With views across to Godrevy Lighthouse, and the lights of St Ives on the other, diners should be in for a highly instagrammable dining experience.
Chic and casual interior design for Walter's beach bar
The Carbis Bay Estate occupies 125-acres, and comprises the luxury Carbis Bay Hotel with 36 individually designed rooms, The Gannet Inn and Gannet House, as well as a range of self-catering accommodation, cottages and serviced apartments, set against the backdrop of the Estate's privately owned 25-acre Blue Flag beach.
Facilities at the hotel include the refurbished C Bay Spa and a Sunseeker yacht for private excursions. Carbis Bay's Beach Club on the Promenade offers guests panoramic views of the ocean while enjoying Mediterranean dishes. All facilities are set within sub-tropical gardens, with access to the South West Coast Path which connects Carbis Bay to St Ives, in a 30 minute stroll.
