Cloud 9 was the clear favorites in this matchup as Team Liquid have fallen to them in a lot of occasions! Though, TL managed to step up and defy expectations, they sent C9 down to the Lower Bracket!

TL managed to mount a small gold lead despite the game being fairly close. At 15 minutes, a teamfight was won by TL as they traded 3-for-1! TL won another teamfight at 24 minutes and proceeded to secure the Baron after. By the 29-minute mark, TL have already destroyed C9's nexus and go 1-0 in the series!

TL came out on top in the early game again. By the 16-minutes mark, a 6.7K gold lead has already been mounted by TL. C9 tried to catch out TL Alphari but he bought enough time for reinforcements to assist him! TL then grabbed the Baron after TL got 2 kills from saving Alphari. TL then win another teamfight at 25 minutes and the game ended shortly after at 29 minutes! TL pushed C9 to the brink as they go 2-0 and secured series point!

TL once again with a small lead in the early game but C9 fought back this time around. C9 win a teamfight at 17 minutes and secured the Rift Herald! By the 22-minute mark, C9 had demolished TL and grabbed the Baron buff. When C9 tried to acquire the second Baron, TL managed to zone them away and took it instead. TL committed to grab the soul and gave up the Baron as a result. After 41 minutes, C9 were the ones to rise up and stay alive!

TL were the ones to get a lead again, it was 7-4 in 15 minutes! C9 managed to fight back as they get 3 kills in the top lane at 24 minutes and started the Baron! TL Santorin made a hero play as he went in and stole the Baron! TL then proceed to dismantle C9 and take the series 3-1!
