Greeley police responded to two overnight trespassing incidents Thursday morning, resulting in one man's arrest and two juveniles receiving citations.

At 1:04 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to an active trespassing at an oil site in the 100 block of 29th Street.

Officers made contact with 48-year-old Fidencio Perez, who attempted to flee the scene, according to Greeley police. Responding officers pushed Perez to the ground after a brief foot pursuit.

Perez was taken into custody without further incident and booked into the Weld County Jail on suspicion of second-degree criminal trespass and obstruction charges.

Then, about 2:06 a.m., police responded to an alarm at the the Bella Romero Academy located at 614 E. 20th St.

On the scene, officers made contact with two juveniles. Shoe prints were found behind the gated section of the school by a ladder that leads to roof access. The shoe prints matched one of the juveniles on the scene, according to police.

Nothing appeared to be damaged or out of place, officers reported.

Both underage suspects were cited for trespassing and released to their guardians.
