Greeley City Council announced 11 new board and commission members and is seeking applicants to fill vacancies.

The new appointments, according to a news release from the city, include:

  • Construction Trades Advisory and Appeals Board: Brian Horning
  • Judicial Review Board: Angie McDowell and Nicholas Nakamura
  • Museum Board: Gary Alexander, Joseph Lesko and Adrian Sdano
  • Planning Commission: Jeff Carlson, Larry Modlin and Christian Schulte
  • Youth Commission: Diana Calhoun and Mya Hollingshead

The following board and commissions have vacancies:

  • Citizen Transportation Advisory Board.
  • Construction Trades Advisory and Appeals Board. One of two open seats requires a building or construction background.
  • Historic Preservation Commission. The open seat requires an architecture, design, landscape architect or contractor background.
  • Housing Authority.
  • Stormwater Board.
  • Youth Commission. Applicants must be youth ages 11 to 18.

Applications are accepted until 8 a.m. Sept. 7. and can be found online at http://greeleygov.com/boards.
