Colorado State University students will begin moving into residence halls Monday, with more than 9,000 students expected in dorms and university apartment.

CSU's move in days extend through Wednesday. The university begins classes for the fall semester on Aug. 23.

In a news release, the university said it expects Monday to be the busiest of the 3-day move-in days with approximately 2,500 students scheduled for move in.

A schedule of events is available at ramwelcome.colostate.edu. International students, first-year off-campus students, transfer students, adult learners and student veterans begin their welcome experience on Thursday.

The university's four on-campus dining centers will allow 100% capacity with dine-in seating and self-service station options. Several to-go options also will continue to be provided, including a new online ordering and pick-up system operated through Gruhub.

Detailed and frequent cleanings of residential spaces and dining centers will continue to be conducted this academic year. Housing and dining services will adhere to the most up-to-date public health and CSU guidance, including the requirement for all faculty, staff and students to wear masks indoors (excluding residents in their own room/apartment).

Designated quarantine/isolation spaces have been set aside for hall and apartment residents who may need them.

CSU requires mandatory submission of proof of a COVID vaccine. All students, faculty and staff are required to submit their vaccine status or declare an exemption by Wednesday, Aug. 18. Mandatory screenings are required twice a week for those who are unvaccinated starting Monday.
