As we are approaching the resumption of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season and have four races left until the playoffs now is a good time to talk about some of the best moments so far in the season.

Let's start where the season started, Michael McDowell winning the 2021 Daytona 500. While it might seem like a fluke win, McDowell has been a driver that is up at the front ast superspeedway races for a while now. You could argue it was a matter of when he'd win a race either Daytona or Talladega instead of if.

Back in March the NASCAR Cup Series did something they haven't done since the 1970's, raced on dirt. It was your normal dirt track like Eldora or Knoxville. They turned the World's Fastest Half Mile, Bristol Motor Speedway into a dirt track. What could've been a disaster, and it looked like it would be, turned into a really great and exciting weekend, capped off by Joey Logano becoming the first Cup Series driver to win on dirt since Richard Petty.

The next best moment is actually a collection of moments so we'll put them together. Hendrick Motorsports won six races in a row, starting with Alex Bowman winning at Dover and ended with Bowman winning at Pocono.

In those six races Hendrick Motorsports finished 1-2-3-4 at Dover, the first time a team did that in decades. Kyle Larson also win three points races in a row and was one turn away from four wins in a row, when his tire blew out and gave the win to Bowman.

The final moment in this collection of moments where Chase Elliott won the rain shortened race at Circuit of the America's, making Hendrick Motorsports the most successful team in NASCAR Cup Series history.

The last moment so far is Aric Almirola winning the race at New Hampshire. While the circumstances weren't great, Almirola was able to hold of Christopher Bell and secure his first victory of the season. This was also the first win for all of Stewart-Haas Racing this year.

As we get ready to return to the regular season and close out the regular season and in the playoffs. After two weeks off,, let's enjoy these next six weeks and the moments and races ahead of us.
