Chickens, cows and pigs! Oh my!

The Weld County Fair, which began on Saturday, July 24, is coming to a close and if you haven't swung by the Island Grove Regional Park to check it out, Sunday is your last chance to do so.

Family Day, sponsored by PDC Energy, begins with Cowboy Church at 8 a.m. in the Pavilion followed by a jam-packed day of exhibits and shows.

Corvettes West Car Club is hosting Vette Fest 2021 at 8 a.m. at the South East Oval with dozens of vintage and custom Corvettes and cars.

The All around Large Animal Showmanship competition starts at 9 a.m. followed by the Bucket Calf Show at 10 a.m. at the North Oval.

All Around Small Animal Showmanship honors for the little critters begins at 10 a.m. in the Event Center.

Stop by the Weld County Free Community Barbecue from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Pavilion for some grub and good times before the Awards Ceremony kicks off at 1:30 p.m. in the same location.

The Horse Awards rounds out the day's events at 2 p.m. at the Exhibition Building Upstairs.

The fair is open to all ages and parking and admission is free.
