Genshin Impact is nearing its latest update in a week or so, and during their special program livestream, they announced a number of awesome things coming your way. Here's what you need to know;
New Characters
There were 2 new playable characters announced in the livestream, Dehya and Mika. Though not the most sought out characters but still worth talking about.
Dehya
She will be the new 5- star Claymore character introduced as an standalone banner in the 3.5 update. The underwhelming part of her release is that she will join Tighnari and the others in the standard banner so she loses her exclusivity after her launch period. Her kit in itself seems pretty normal, with her elemental skill providing off-field pyro damage to her teammates and she disposes her claymore to fight with her bare hands during her elemental burst which deals pyro damage. She does bring a lot of versatility to the table as a sub-dps and her kit might not seem as exciting to others. Dehya will be arriving in the first phase of banners alongside Cyno's first ever rerun banner which is questionable to say the least. But then again, his debut was placed during an awkward timing, sandwiched between 2 popular archons, Zhongli and Nahida.
Mika
With much changes to the game, physical damage is rarely seen to be a must-have to any team composition which is understandable. But with the release of Mika, we can look forward to seeing the META shift around. Just like Gorou is to Geo teams and Faruzan is to Anemo setups, Mika will provide a significant benefit for physical damage teams. Although the only reliable candidate as a DPS in this field is Eula, Mika pretty much compliments her kit really well. Being a Healer/Buffer, Mika can provide ATK Speed and Physical Damage Bonus % with the use of his elemental skill, and his elemental burst provides a team-wide heal on top of lifesteal during the duration of it. What can potentially make Mika broken is his C6 trait where his elemental skill will also provide his team with a 60% Physical Crit Damage buff which can be huge for a Eula team setup. Mika will be available in the second phase banner as a 4 star unit. To think that it will be a good fit to pair him up with Eula as a rerun, but instead he will be in company with Ayaka's and Shenhe's banners
New Update, New Rewards
In conjunction with a new archon quest, every player will be able to claim 1 intertwined fate per archon quest they have completed in the past. This will be a permanent reward system implemented into the game.
Windblume Festival greets us once again
The events in update 3.5 will consist with the reappearance of the windblume festival. We welcome back familiar mini-games with also reiterations of returning themes.

Fresh from their EFL Cup triumph on Sunday, Manchester United will be looking to advance to the fifth round of the FA Cup at West Ham United's expense.
Manchester United vs West Ham United odds
Here are the latest match odds for Manchester United vs Newcastle United.
Best bookies to bet on Manchester United vs West Ham United
Old Trafford will be in a celebratory mood on Wednesday night.
The Manchester United players will receive a hero's welcome back on home turf following their EFL Cup triumph at the weekend.
Casemiro's header and a Sven Botman own goal earned Erik ten Hag's side a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United on Sunday.
After a near-six-year wait for a piece of silverware, Manchester United supporters were delighted to see their team get over the line in the Wembley showpiece.
It might not be the only trophy they lift this season. United have an outside chance in the Premier League title race, although they could fall 11 points behind Arsenal in top spot on Wednesday.
Last week, Ten Hag's side progressed to the last 16 of the Europa League with an impressive aggregate win over Barcelona.
And they now have the chance to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup by beating West Ham United.
The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle are already out of the competition. That leaves Manchester United as the bookies' second-favourites to win the FA Cup, behind only Manchester City.
Given that several lower-league sides are still in the tournament, this is not the easiest tie that Ten Hag's team could have been handed.
But after the joyous experience of Sunday afternoon at Wembley, United will be on a high for the visit of West Ham.
Our expert betting tips for Manchester United vs West Ham.
Manchester United vs West Ham United betting tips
Manchester United can continue their fantastic recent form by beating West Ham at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
Manchester United to score in both halves - 6/4 (bet365)
Ten Hag's side have built up some impressive momentum in recent weeks.
No team in the Premier League has collected more points post-World Cup. Both Manchester United and Manchester City have 23 to their name since then, but the former have amassed that tally in one fewer game.
United have also won the EFL Cup and made progress in the FA Cup and the Europa League in that time.
It marks a significant improvement on the first few weeks of the campaign, when back-to-back defeats by Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford plunged the club into yet another crisis.
There have been occasional setbacks in recent weeks, most notably the 3-2 defeat by Arsenal in January.
But United recovered from that loss brilliantly and they have the bit between their teeth as we enter March.
In six of their last 11 Premier League games, the Red Devils have found the back of the net either side of half-time.
They did so in their last domestic match at Old Trafford against Leicester City, and there is a decent chance they will achieve the same feat when West Ham come to town.
Manchester United to win to nil - 7/4 (bet365)
On Saturday David Moyes became the third manager to oversee 250 Premier League wins, after Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.
His side thrashed Nottingham Forest 4-0 to climb out of the relegation zone. It was one of West Ham's best performances of the season, even if the first goal did not arrive until the 71st minute.
Home form, you feel, will be crucial to the Hammers' bid to stay in the division.
No team in the Premier League has collected fewer points on the road than Moyes' men, who have won just one top-flight game at an opposition stadium in 2022/23.
More broadly, the Scot has a dismal managerial record when facing the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal away from home.
Premier League survival is West Ham's main objective and it would not be a surprise to see them suffer a defeat without scoring on Wednesday.
Marcus Rashford to score any time - 6/5 (bet365)
Rashford did not get on the scoresheet against Newcastle, although he was unfortunate not to.
His first-half strike deflected in off Botman and the goal was credited to the Newcastle defender, a scenario that neither player will have welcomed.
The England international was a constant threat throughout the match, and his counter-attacking pace gave United an outlet when they were defending their lead in the second half.
Rashford also drew a blank in the second leg of the Europa League play-off against Barcelona last week, but do not bet against him finding the back of the net here.
The forward was an injury doubt for the EFL Cup final, but the fact he played for 88 minutes shows that he was able to shake off the knock sustained against Barcelona pretty quickly.
Ten Hag will probably make one or two changes to the starting XI here, but it would be a risk to not include Rashford from the first whistle.
With 16 goals to his name in 19 appearances since the World Cup, the 25-year-old is in the form of his life. And when attacking players are scoring for fun, the wisest approach is simply to keep playing them as long as they are fit.
West Ham, who have kept only one away clean sheet against Premier League opposition since August, could struggle to keep Rashford quiet.
